My name is Fiona Vandermyden and I'm a Toronto-based photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around me.

Photography has been a part of my life since I was 13, but I truly fell in love with it during my time at York University in the theatre program. I offered to take actors' headshots, and seeing how these images made them feel confident and empowered sparked a passion in me that has only grown over the years.

This experience inspired me to take my photography to the next level, so I enrolled in the photography program at Humber College. There, I honed my skills and learned new techniques that have helped me specialize in fashion, cosmetics, editorial, and product photography.

In addition to my work, I also assist photographers in the professional world, gaining valuable experience and insights into the industry. I love meeting new people through my craft, as it allows me to connect with others and share my passion for photography.

I live by the motto "There is never a shoot I won't try," which drives me to push my creative boundaries constantly. I always seek new challenges and opportunities to explore different styles and techniques. Photography is not just a job for me; it is a way of life, a passion that drives me to create and innovate every day.

Who Inspires me?

In my daily life, it's my friends and family who inspire me the most. Witnessing their growth and achievement motivates me to strive for the same in my own life.
